Group Quiz today - over the story of Jamestown. The students worked with their parnters to complete a two part "quiz" over the story of Jamestown. We then discussed it. Began our look at the last early settlement we will learn about in this unit - the Plimoth colony. Using a Lord of the Flies example - Mr. M introduced the 'Mayflower Compact". The Separatists felt the need to create this agreement since they were not in Virginia but in an area outside the rule of law and the King.
