Mr. M Back!

Began our look at How the Great Age of Exploration Began. Examined four main reasons for it.
Feudalism and it's decline
Resurgance of Towns and Trade
The Crusades and Trade with the East
The Renaissance

We focused on the first two (Feudalism and the Revival of Towns and Trade) - had a skit, watched some video, and Mr. M lectured on the rest.

Continued to look at the different ideas concerning the Origins of Native Americans in class. We did a follow up to the Kennewick Man video, too.

Students spent most of their time coming up with their group "migration songs". Here are the groups:
  • Native American point of view and creation stories
  • Kennewick Man
  • European route/Solutrean Culture
  • Monte Verde/Possible Coastal route by boat
  • Australia/South Pacific and the Luzia connection
